Dance: Art Through Movement

I have been dancing hip hop for a couple of years now and the only thing I regret is not getting involved in the dancing community sooner. I was first inspired when my favorite dance group called Quest Crew, came to Calgary back in 2010. I first learned about them from the Tv show competition America's Best Dance Crew, and became obsessed with all these different dancers that were on the show or have made themselves known through Youtube.

For the past few years, I have found many dancers that are amazing. Many of them post videos of their choreography on Youtube, and I often find myself focusing on back up dancers when there are performances at award shows, such as the American Music Awards (AMA), to see if I can spot any dancers I know. I find that dance is a way of being able to express yourself, especially when you dance to a song that represents what you are feeling.
