In Film and cinema there is one aspect that goes either unnoticed or not given a second thought and that aspect is sound. In movies sound plays an integral role letting the audience know how to feel about what's happening on screen. The sound builds tension in a story line and brings climax to it. without sound film would be unable to tell story's like it does today. the sound also brings a reality to a movie that otherwise would not be there. Although sound is a very important part of cinema many viewers do not realizes how much it plays a part in how they feel throughout the movie. Many directors praise there sound designers saying that without them there movies would be nothing.
I agree completely. If you took away sound movies, it would be so bland that there might not be a movie business. It sets the mood, lets you know how you should be feeling during a scene, and definitely adds excitement. A movie with only talking and acting would lack all of these, and I would not be a very big movie fan. A movie just isn't a movie without sound.
